Privacy Policy

The Gold IRA Desk collects the minimum reader data needed to operate the site. We do not sell personal information.

What we collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider logs standard HTTP request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, referer header, and timestamp. Retained for 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
• Analytics. If we run analytics (we currently do not), we will use a privacy-respecting service (Plausible or similar) that does not set cross-site cookies. We will not add Google Analytics or Meta Pixel without updating this notice.
• Newsletter (when launched). Email address and the date subscribed. We do not collect names by default. Unsubscribe link in every email.
• Contact form. Whatever the reader voluntarily enters when sending a message. Used only to respond, not added to any list.

What we do not collect

• Financial account numbers, social-security numbers, tax-ID numbers, or any other sensitive personal information.
• Behavioral profiles or remarketing audiences. We do not target ads.
• Data about minors. This site is not directed to anyone under 18.

Affiliate link tracking

Our affiliate shortlinks (/go/<brand>/) record only that the click happened. The destination company may track the click independently using their own cookies — see each company's privacy policy for details. We do not share the reader's identity, email, or behavior with the destination company.

Third parties

We use the following third-party services (none of which receive personal data from us beyond what's needed to operate them):

• Hosting: static-site host (CDN-backed). Logs IP for security.
• Email (when launched): a transactional email provider for newsletter delivery.
• Search engines and AI assistants: the publicly readable content of this site is crawled by Google, Bing, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, and others per our robots.txt. None of them receive private reader data from us.

Your rights

If you are a resident of California (CCPA / CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), or the European Union (GDPR), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Send a request to our contact page with the subject "Data request". We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

The Gold IRA Desk does not currently set any cookies of its own. If analytics or newsletter functionality is added, we will use only essential cookies and disclose them here.

If we update this policy, the date below changes and material changes are summarized in a brief note at the top of this page.
